Streets 61? Well... that's because the start point is at Yishun Street 61, and the mid-point is at Jurong West Street 61. Introducing the most epic route of the Year 2010 to Jurong West by bike.

Jun Le, today very high, right? This is our longest route we ever cycled. New achievement!
At first, I thought it is not possible for us to cycle that far.
Now, we experienced it.
Who says it is not possible to cycle from Yishun to Jurong West?

The whole route from Yishun to Jurong West, we noted that:

1. There are a series of slopes along Mandai Ave & Mandai Road


2. Part of Woodlands Road is bumpy.


3. Along Woodlands Road towards Bukit Panjang, there's a long stretch of construction site for upcoming Downtown Line train depot.


4. There's a new ITE College West at the controlled T-Junction of Choa Chu Kang Road and Choa Chu Kang Drive.


5. Jurong Road has no proper pathment to cycle, we are forced to cycle on roadside. At least, it is the ulu version of Jalan Kayu.

Went to double confirm the route to walk to Kranji camp from home. Also to find out the time required to travel.
I guess, I finally found something to do after an hour of thought since around 9.30am.

Went to JP for lunch - Curry Chicken Rice.
Bought some stuffs at the hypermarket, and WOW at the discounted Oreo price.
$1.80 instead of usual $2.65. O_O
Went to arcade for awhile before going for my medical appointment to change my dressing.

The time I left JP... 3pm.
The time I arrived Yishun Polyclinic... 4pm.
(Duh... I lazy to walk from bus interchange to polyclinic.)

Yea... this time round, the recovery is faster than 1st time.

On this day as well, I realised Jian Zhou's birthday falls on the same day as Jenny's birthday exactly. O_O
So, how many friends I have whose birthdays fall on the same day as my another friends? Hmmm... lost track.
Same birthday as mine... 0.

Speaking about birthday, I wonder how will it be like for this year?
I doubt there will be birthday cake from parents ba.
Well, this day is about 2.5 months time from now.
Her upcoming birthday gift? I have 8 months to think.
At least, now I know what she does not like.

Seriously nothing to do. Ended up playing Facebook games & MapleSEA the whole day up to 6pm.
No choice, weekday = work day for most of my friends.
The only days when they are most likely to be free is weekend.

Another West sector for CNY after Jenny's house.
It's another Hawk Platoon 2 Section 1 (Batch 04/09) gathering time at Edmund's house.
The meeting time is set to be at 4.30pm, at Boon Lay MRT.
But I arrived much earlier, at 2.15pm.
So, you think I must be crazy, right?

Fortunately, it is NO.
I arrived 2 hours+ earlier is due to:

1. I have to pass my Monopoly board game set to Andrew, so that he can bring it on Sunday for book in to play with other bunkmates. (Since I'll be on MC till Monday.)


2. Jenny off-work at 3pm, and I got the feeling that the 4.30pm meeting time will be delayed by at least 30 minutes. While waiting, let's play together till I receive the news.

1.15pm is the time I stepped out of my house.
Unable to walk fast now, still got a bit of problem walking. =X
Walk with caution to the MRT.
It seems that the timing is perfect.
The train just arrived and opened its doors.
*eyes on empty Reserved Seat*
SMS Andrew about my estimated arrival timing at JP, which is set to 2.15pm.

Exactly 2.15pm, I arrived at JP Subway for lunch.
The surprising thing is, Andrew told me to wait for him at Subway after I ordered my food.
I was like... "Wah, how you know sia?"
He arrived with his gf - Stella, about 5 minutes later.
Lunch together with them till around 2.50pm, then they left with their own window-shopping time.
Also, I lent my Monopoly boardgame to Andrew.

Last cookie & half cup of 22oz drink for me while waiting for her.
Until around 3.20pm, then go arcade.
I have to take note if there's any updates after 4.30pm, since I got the feeling that some people will arrive late.
Indeed got people arrive late, so continue playing.
3.20pm to everyone arrives:

1. Playing Taiko with her
   "拜启，於学校" (Non-coded, Oni 7*)... passed again.


2. Edmund Kuang, Benjamin Poh, Tian Sheng, Xian Jun went into ZoneX... and found out I was playing with Jenny.


3. While playing Jubeat, Edmund Kwang called me.
   When I called him back, he never answer.
   And I resume my game, he called me again.
   Until I finally managed to call him, he said all arrive liao.

5.30pm... lol, 1 hour delay.
Lucky I "hide" inside arcade to kill time while playing sia.
Without any further delay, we walked out to the bus interchange with my BMT bunkmates.
From JP2, she went to her grandma house while I joined my friends for steamboat. *hugs, kiss*

Yes, same old shit again, just like 31 Oct 2009.
Keep it simple:
- CGH for swollen left toe, minor operation.
- Today's operation is way not so painful as 31 Oct 2009.
- The environment in the operation room is F***ING cold even though I cover the thick blanket from feet to neck (except left feet which is being operating).
- For the 1st time, I hop with 1 leg while transfer to another train.

And I get 8 days of status (4 days MC, 8 days excused boots: both start on same day starting 19 Feb).

On the day I RTU, I received a surprise news.
Nights Out. O_O
Surprisingly, this nights out lasts longer.
Can go AMK Hub, watch movie with Edwin, Jian Zhou, Russell, Yong Hong, Kok Wei.
Yes, Jian Zhou is back with us for the time being after 4 weeks. ^o^

But on the way out to take taxi, I kicked on something hard... causing my swollen left toe to feel sharp pain.
Ya, the same old shit is gonna happen again. :(

The movie is more on entertainment purpose, so funny especially when Jackie Chan ("chaokeng" Liang soldier) & Wang Leehom (Wei General) fight.
Scenrios like: Liang poking at Wei General's severely injured leg.

On Valentine & CNY Eves, I went to Jenny's house to pass her Valentine gift. Ok, this is my 1st time doing so... but gift wise, it is the 2nd time.

Today, I went over to her house again. This time as 拜年. LOL!
Not just with her, Danny as well.
Apparently, he's the one I have not met for a few years since the GEMS course ended.

There's a train service disruption while I waiting for the train at Jurong East.
Oh no! Gonna arrive late liao.
By the time it resumes its service, I had actually waited about 15 minutes for a train. O_O
And by the time I reached Jenny's doorstep... Danny just arrived as well together with his family members.

What is the common thing to do during CNY?
- Eat
- Play
- Watch TV
- Talk
- Sleep (if there is no 拜年)

Danny's wrong message sending to me has been exposed by Jenny. LOL!!! Epic win.

The timing is so perfect. Zhun zhun at the time they start to move off to another place to 拜年, I also have to go too... but to meet my family.

2. I borrowed Andrew's watch after 2 failed attempts.

If today everything smooth, can drive both platform, today can book out already.
But haiz... anyway passed the test liao, so it is still okay to book out on the next day.

On this day, Yong Hong & I team up and drove the Class4 vehicle.
He started off from Camp K to Tanah Merah Coast road end (loop at Jalan Kayu) as rest point.
I continued from rest point to Camp S (loop at Woodlands/Mandai Road).
Apparently, vehicle commander is feeling sleepy. LOL!
The journey drove by Yong Hong:

1. I see a lot of new recruits in a shuttle bus... OMG, they got half-day!?!?


2. Jasper SMS-ed me, and I replied him... "Back to Tekong lo. As if, I drove past only nia."

Another day of islandwide driving.
Same route, just that the start point is different.
This time, it is a Class3 vehicle and I started the driving 1st.
Hope can fast fast finish, then end early. ^^

Chinese New Year eve mah, so everything must be smooth.
*touch wood* If accident happens... GG. *touch wood*
This concludes the end of the whole driving course, but I still have yet to collect the license.

Week 8a/8: 08 & 09 February 2010

Cross-country driving Day 2... simply the same old thing again as Day 1 Cross-Country Driving.

09 February 2010
1st attempt failed due to my mistake.
2nd attempt again, but doesn't seem to be my mistake. zzzz!!! =.=

Instruction given: "Turn left, turn right."
I made a left turn to the right lane, then suddenly on-coming vehicle turn right, stop and give way to me.
That was Amber Light nia.

Even my instructor also do not understand why is this so.
But his words are quite encouraging lar.
Hope for the best in 3rd attempt.

1st 2 attempts, can consider kena The Devil Testers.
Pissed off mood...
And again... 10 demerit points with 1 major fault.

My buddy passed the test on the same day, so now I'm the so-called "Last Man Standing" within my own group.

On the same day as well, I passed another test - Height & Lashing. But this happened before 2nd Driving Test attempt.
So, now I left with Driving Test to clear.
