09 Aug 2010 This is our show, give the audience the "WOW" experience! After 4 months of rehearsal, this marks the end of NDP 2010 story. End of burning weekends? Not yet. ATP... another weekend to burn... x_x On the brighter side, marksman = free money into pocket xD Off-in-lieu after NDP... NOT FOR ME!!!
Lots of defining moments during NDP, although... yea, it sucks to have our precious weekend to burn. No time with my family, friends, and... *ahem ahem* *secret* 2 of my friends wanted to go out with me, but definitely 1 of us will not be available. It all started from June 2010. Hopefully after NDP 2010, everything will be back to normal (probably after Sep 2010).
As for NDP... hoho, do we expect COA to talk to Adam? =D

It has been a busy July for me, or probably too lazy/tired to update it. Anyway, on 03 July 2010, I went to NDP 2010 CR 3 with Victor since I have a pair of tickets & not involved in the rehearsal on that day due to excuse boots status. Either way, can I still consider myself as NDP involvement? *bhb*
While waiting for Victor for his arrival from Pasir Ris, I went to walk around Esplanade area. Great changes were seen such as MBS (Marina Bay Sands).
Upon his arrival, we enter the Padang. Although it is a bad weather, we carry on watching as usual. As this is Combined Rehearsal 3, there are severals Simulators/Simulations such as Heartlands (CCK, Bishan, Woodlands, Eunos, Sengkang), MP, President, Corrinne May, etc etc.

The show ended at about 8.20pm, initially wanted to go home... but went to JP instead to "try my luck" & avoid the severely congested North-South Line towards AMK/Yishun/Woodlands at City Hall. Were my eyes playing tricks on me? Spotted Jenny in the Arcade with Jerry, playing Taiko11. Apparently, I'm not spotted until 10 minutes later? -.- Dinner at Subway (turned KFC/McDonald's away to to massive crowd...), home.

It gets worse at night... making me to sleep much earlier than expected.

07 July 2010: NDP 2010 Heartland Route reccee - West As a role of reserve, I have to know every single heartland route well. North route is no kick for me, but West & East routes are the problems since I do not know anything. During this session, I look out for West route. West route is much more difficult than North route. -.-" More slip roads, more 2 lane roads, more road diversion due to DTL construction!!! The best part: Loop 1 round around Orchard before heading to the West
08 & 09 July 2010 These 2 days are meant for NDP 2010 NE1 Prep & new training ground reccee. Also, Fast Marching-cum-jogging is ****. Fast march = gap widen Jog = gap close Leg ankles ****-ing pain!!!
Nights Out - Grab food to eat, then to the Arcade It sucks to play Taiko with a pair of plastic bachi provided at ZoneX. Other people involved in ZoneX - Ben Poh, Lawrence, Kok Wei, Kenneth, etc etc etc... ... Taking cab home... got 1 imba experience: We saw a car on our left with triangle plate turning right It is a 2-lane right turn, other lanes to go straight/turn left Left-most lane will go to left-most lane after turning right, same gomes to right-most lane But this vehicle use left-most to turn right to right-most... almost kena accident!!!
10 July 2010 Instead of a reserve role, I'm back to drive during this NDP 2010 again. But with immediate effect, I'll be taking the West route instead. With Jia Hong as my VC, nothing to worry about. (: The most **** part is: CMD XYZ instruct ABC to place weapon into Veh A, then settle everything when reach camp CMD RST, without giving ABC a chance to explain, keep **** ABC until CMD XYZ steps in
After all those SHITS, task cleared at 5am & book out at 6am. To add in more SHITS, I'm going out with my family later... NO NEED SLEEP LIAO!!!
Status continues for this week with more store items helpout. For the next 4 weeks (including this week), it is 2 chapters at the same time. 5c for NDP, 6 for new training phrase... This week, nothing special happenings except the stores helpout on Friday (02 July 2010). CSM realised... how come I'm always the one helping Jian Zhou?

Initially I wanted to stay back a little longer with Jian Zhou to keep the stores at night, but I have to settle NDP 2010 CR3 Tickets & Taiko Competition prize collection...
For the NDP side, it is confirmed that I'll be play the role as a Reserve. If somebody is absent from the rehearsal, I have to take over that particular role. But it will not take effect this week, because I'm unable to participate. So good luck to the rest of MSC!!! (: (I know it sucks to burn precious weekend...) 24 June 2010 Toenail cut too short? Of course because I went for such operation 4.5 months ago for the same old shit. Counting this time, it is the 3rd time already.
Instead of operation, I was given 2 weeks excused shoes. Suggested to go A&E if condition worsen... but then, will it be too late? 2 weeks... possible of pulling out from NDP 2010. To go rehearsal this week? No update yet.

Overall: Rehearsal end time for the column which I'm involved is around 8.30pm. But need to wait for further notice to go back... By the time I managed to book out, it is around 3pm.
After booking out: Supper with Yong Liang & Kenneth at Li Soon Coffeeshop, somewhere convenient for us to go home after supper. Reached home after late supper... it is around 4pm. At that point of time, I see some of the food stall owners preparing to set up their stall for business. And to my surprise, the supermarket NTUC is now operating 24 hours. O_O

09 June 2010: Snake - Property of CSM While waiting for the reccee rehearsal to start, we received permission to enter the office to rest. CSM brought in a container containing a snake... O_O Bad news from him... need to do vehicle check after coming back from midnight reccee. Sian to the max!
10 June 2010: NDP 2010 Rehearsal (Heartland [2]) Still got a lot of time to hang around after reaching the start point of reccee. Permission granted to go somewhere nearby for a better dinner - Burger King. Together with Yong Liang & Kenneth, we went to Kallang Leisure Park to have dinner. Since it is near Stadium MRT, I went to top up EZ-Link card cash value. =p

There's an area which I forgot... during the 2nd run-through of this reccee session. This time, it is happening during the wee hours. 10 June 2010: Noisy Fuckers Need to do vehicle check in the afternoon, sian sia. Last week's reccess for the other group... no need to do. My group need... wth! Nvm... just hope after a few hours of sleep/rest, I will feel better. But, thanks to these noisy fuckers... talking/laughing loudly like nobody's business, HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO HAVE A GOOD REST??? After NDP, book out... while walking out of camp with Kenneth & Yong Liang, we saw a few Taxis drove past along the main road. The moment we reach the main road, there isn't any taxi along the stretch of main road... even after about 10 minutes. Lawrence's father drove past, thanks to Lawrence, we rode on his vehicle to Khatib together with James.
And guess what? I slept at 4am, woke up at 12pm... LATE LIAO!!! Meeting my friend at 12pm to go JP... GG!!!

30 May 2010: NDP Rehearsal (Phrase 2c) - Breakdown drill After Run1 of the day, lunch was delivered. This is not a dream... it's real - KFC for lunch!!! This is not the only KFC meal of the day, dinner also!!! But late dinner screwed the taste of KFC... not nice liao.
Guess what time I book out after moving some vehicles from 1 place to another... that's 2am on 31 May 2010. Took cab home with Kenneth. By the time I reach home: 2.30am. Rest till 3am, go bath. While waiting for hair to dry, use computer until 4.15am... sleep. The time I woke up: 11.30am... can skip breakfast even though my mum insisted me to. zzz!~

04 June 2010: The most fucked up day - Light Off issue & Standby Area Most people fall in late, tio punish... ok, accept as a whole. Small number of people not on bed after Light Off... whole lot kena. Wait a minute, what's the exact defination of "Lights Off"? - On bed sleeping? - Can do whatever you want as long as lights are off?
Seriously, both are the answers. In PCs' point of view, it is sleep. How about this? Let's all get on bed, lie down... no noise... try to sleep after Lights Off? Confirm + chop nothing happen, else like this day... nbcb.
Make it worse... standby area. Who the f*** will go and clean when past few standbys did not check the following: - Window Handle? - Noticeboard which is totally not in use? - Windows at Ground Level?
Seriously, each standby areas are getting more ridiculous. What are they up to? Clean the cookhouse next time? Whole camp? GND!
The moment I reached the bus stop, the 2 bus services which bring me to my destination had just departed. Chiong to MRT, but train just departed also. Thought the wait will not be long, but after 5 minutes... so sign of next train arrival timing. At that point of time, I had yet to enter the station platform. Walked back to the bus stop... luckily the bus arrived.
1st few train frequently in the early morning is around 10 minutes per train till 6.30am??? Hmmmm...
NDP rehearsal for today in the afternoon... I think I screwed it badly. Almost hit on an object which can cause accident. Other than that, no other comments... everytime the same.
Last week, I mentioned about the f*** up SFI providing "Expired Tomato Sauce". Today's lunch... the chicken they gave, all different size. I suay suay tio the small 1. =.=" Kenny... gets the BIG 1. Win already. -.-

12 May 2010: "Up" Movie & NDP Rehearsal's Attire Check Early in the morning, my clock is not ringing at all when other bunkmates had woken up by their alarms. Sian, that means my alarm chui liao. zzzz!!!?
Initially, we thought there is NDP Rehearsal for us. After going there, we were being checked for NDP attire. Then go back bunk, except troopers to remain for NDP Rehearsal.
Ian is watching "Up". A movie, which I felt like watching last year... but never watch. Now got the chance to watch. =P
13 May 2010: "The Losers" movie & The Ugly Scene at AMK MRT Station Platform B This day is our rehearsal but 2nd group will not rehearse due to bad weather. There's Night Out on this day, to watch "The Losers" with: Jian Zhou, Lawrence, Adam, Zhi Hao, Benjamin Lua, Tiong Wee, Chao Xiang, Russell, Edwin, Kok Wei & Kenny.

BTW, while on our way to Junction8, there was a small quarrel in the MRT train at AMK station. Just because the train is so packed until have to squeeze, 1 of the passengers buay song. Squeeze a bit also buay sai meh? Somemore is Man VS Man. WTF, I thought Woman VS Man. =.= Sia lar... almost going to have a big fight in the public area wor. Passengers nearby, all eyes on them. The only way to stop this is for the train captain/officer to close the door since 1 of them is being pushed out to the station platform.
14 May 2010: Advanced Skill Area Cleaning Nothing much on this day except doing new stuff for Area Cleaning - Clean the fan & lightings. These 2 locations seriously too thick for 1 Terrex.
Book out lo! Next day early morning book in, luckily it is near my house. xD
15 May 2010: End of NDP2010 Rehearsal 1 Nothing much to train on, except the vehicle moving alignments. Book out lo!!!
Book in for NDP Rehearsal at 7am. Don't feel any hunger, thus skipped breakfast... with more time to sleep. Upon arrival, I wait for the rehearsal to start... So long, until they ordered McDonald's for breakfast. This isn't a joke... it is McDonald's. Inside a few paper bags, there are a total of about 30+ Sausage Muffins with Egg Burger. O_O
By the time the rehearsal starts, it is 11am. Die liao... initial end time supposed to be 1pm, at this state, sure extend to around 3pm+. How to go out later sia? zzzz!~
Indeed it ended at 3.30pm. FML! Outing later 100% gurantee cancelled. Screw it! Everytime plan finalised, this NDP sure come disrupt my plan. When it is not confirmed, NDP like want or don't want disrupt... eventually, not affected. When can I have a finalised plan which is not affected by anything else!?!?!?!?!?

30 April 2010 It's 3.50pm, and I left my house for NDP2010 Rehearsal. The moment I reached the bus stop, I received a call regarding cancellation of NDP2010 Rehearsal. Called my CSM to confirm about this, and it is. Hang up my phone, the bus opened the door for me... I was like... diao? Heng ah... save my transport expense to Rehearsal Site.
I'm left with 03 May 2010 issue - to watch movie with Jun Le & Jenny. I asked Jun Le if he's available to watch movie after his book out. Luckily, he's available. That's case solved!!! ^^
Met him at my house downstair at 6pm. Initially, we wanted to watch Iron Man2 at GV Yishun. Surprising, the tickets are selling fast unlike Ip Man2!!! Heard from a few friends of mine that Ip Man2 very nice to watch, we bought a pair of tickets for that show using my SAFRA card. Hehe... save $2 per ticket. (:
Dinner at a coffeeshop nearby where I ordered my Chicken Cutlet Rice. Yummy!!! Went to buy a bottle of drink at Cold Storage, must cheaper than buying from GV... anyway I don't feel like drinking "gasy" drinks. Make it on time to find our seats and sit down, enjoying the whole movie. This 1hour 48minutes movie (Ip Man 2 [葉問2/叶问2] is about:
Wing Chun master Ip Man moved to Hong Kong in the 1950s together with his family after escaping from the Japanese. He decides to open martial art school to teach Wing Chun to make a living, but it was not well known in this region. Ip will only be allowed to keep his school open if he wins every match with the master. It ended up a draw with Hung.

20 April 2010 After 8 days of I.C. appointment, finally a change!!! Can relax a bit liao. There is a 2.4km timed-run... passed by 4 seconds. =X
Watched "21"... halfway though, due to lack of time.
21 April 2010 Continued watching "21", but still unable to complete it due to Nights Out.
Nights Out @ Junction8 with Jian Zhou, Lawrence, Kok Wei, etc etc... about 10 people anyway. First stop at LJS having out Dinner Part2. While some of them went to Popular Bookstore, the rest headed to Häagen-Dazs for min-ice-cream meal. For me, not eating any ice-cream, headed to Arcade. Those who just left Popular, went to Arcade as well. Jubeat... for the 1st time, own people by 300k+ score. =X 1.5x EXP song of the day: Unfortunately, I have yet to unlock it.
Lastly, we (Lawrence, Jian Zhou, Kenneth, Kok Wei, I) headed to NTUC to stock up our dried food. (: Comes to payment, the cashier screwed up. =.= Scan extra on 1 of the many items we purchased. At least, we were told to check before leaving the counter.
Now, this is the worst part when we were heading back to camp. We queued for taxi at the front of Taxi Stand since there is no queue. A lady behind us, flagged for taxi. But taxi stopped in front of us instead, for us to board. We have the right of way anyway. Who cares about her cursing and swearing the attitude of NS-men (us) in this case? This is the TAXI STAND for god sake!!!
Now, the new info I had found out: - NDP Rehearsal2 on 24 April 2010 had been postponed to 30 April 2010. - Block leave on 29 April 2010 (halfday) & 03 May 2010. - NE Trip on 29 April 2010: NEWater & Marina Barrage. *WTF, Barrage again!?!? =.="*
23 April 2010 During basketball friendly game match, after falling down many times, the final minute before the game officially ended, I fell & had my knee scratch... bleeding.
For the time being, wash with tap water.
19-23 April 2010 & Book Out Have you noticed? Everyday during these days, after 5pm = confirm raining? =.= Lucky, today book out is not affected by sudden heavy downpour It is only when I reached home = heavy rain
After washing up, including open wound, tried to put some Herbal Oil on it. BLOODY *(#^%(^%##&^%(@*$&... DAM IT!!!
